SPELLLLLLLBOUND

Hey Guys!

About a year ago I started my own blog named Phantasma Musica, which was pretty much a group effort to push our terrible music tastes upon the Internet. Fortunately that didn't work out so the world was safe until this very second.

Asides from the name change to something less pretentious and cheesy to something even more generically macabre, I'll be doing this blog mostly by myself for the time being. Later on I'll probably change my mind and add a few more contributors but for the moment it'll just be a solo effort.

The music itself will pretty much be in the spectrums of Goth Rock, Deathrock, Horror Punk, Gothic Metal, Post-Punk, Industrial, Electro, Synthpop, EBM, Ethreal, Dark Ambient, and so on. In other words: it's gawff club fodder. I will however be a little elitist on what will and will not be posted so all the preteens in face paint and Hot Topic gear can go elsewhere (sorry kids, not a Manson fan). If you do have a request I'll be glad to accept but if I just can't find it or I'm having my period about a certain artist or album, I'll give you the red light and you can try again later or go to the Internet Satan that is iTunes.

I will not add passwords to files, since that only complicates things and is just an absolute buzzkill. Downloads will be catergorized by artist, genre(s), year, and country. Every so often I'll throw in a half-assed review but usually it will be typical blabber about the album.

One more thing: while I do feel that the worst thing that ever happened to music was becoming an industry, the artists should at least get a few cents for being a good sport. The goal of this blog is to download to listen but if you like the album, buy it. If not, delete it and pretend that it never happened.

Thanks, and goodnight. :P
